l. Disconnect batt€ry ground cable.
2. Loq,er steering coluûn (refer to Steering, Section 38,
for complete procedure for lowering jâcket).
NOTICE: Àpply protective material to the mastjâcket
to prevenr damâge to the painted surfâces.
3. Remove three screws above front of heater contol
securing it to instrument cluster.
4. Remove râdio control knobs. washers. bezel nuts ând
front support at lower edge of instlument cluster. This \rill
âllow the radio to remain in the instrument paDel.
5, Remove screws at top, bottom and sides of
insûument carrier securing it to the instrumert pân€I.
6. Tilt carrier forward and reach behind to disconnect
spe€dometer cable, electrical plug connecton and lift
instrument car.ier out of inst mert panel after removing
7. For instâllation, reverse renovâl procedure. DO
NOT KINK CABLE HOUSING.
