NOTICE: on some model switches, the wire ând
terminâl cannot be detached from the switch mâking
ir necessâry
10 cur and splice lhe switch sire.
4- Insert wire ard terminal into new switch.
5- Push switch into place and install bulb by setting it
in plâce, depressing and tuming it clockwise.

L Disconnect bâttery grcund cable
2. Remove ash tray atrd retainer.
3. Umcrew retâiner f.om rear of housing assembly ând
disengage lighter ùnit from panel.
4, To install, reverse removal procedure.
I and F Series (Figs.8B-18 and 88.19)
Replacêmênt
l. Disconnect bâttery ground cable.
2. Remove conn€ctor from rear of lighter hous;ng. A
smali flât blade will lift locking barbs.
3. Gripping retâiûer at reâr of instrument panel,
unscrew lighter housing assembly from the f.ont of the
instrument panel. A rubber thùmb cover will âid.
4. To instâil, revene removâl procedure
