l. Disconnect el€c[ical connector ftom LPS (lamps)
socket of luse panel.
2. Disconnect €lectrical connector from IGN (Ignition)
socket of fuse panel.
3. Disconnect electlical connector to instrument panel
4. Remove strap secudng bùzzer to instrument panel
5. Instâll replâcem€nt heâdlamp wâming buzzer in
reverse sequence of rcmoval.
SEAT BELÎ WARNING SYSTEM
All Chevrolet pâssenger cars ircorporâte a non-
sequential, timer-controlled seat belt waming system. This
system hâs âtr instrument panel warning light thar wil
illuminate every time the ignition switch is tumed on,
whethe. or not the driver's seat belt is buckled, but will
âutomaticâlly go o1I âfter 4-8 seconds. The buzzer is also
controlled by the 4-8 second timer, but will opeÉte only if
the driver hâs not buckled-up prior to tuming on the
ignition. If no âttempt is made to buckle-up aftel tuming
on the ignition, the buzer will also shuioff automaticâlly
after 4-8 seconds.
