CONDITION AND CAUSE
CORRECTION
Heater oudet Tempûâture too low,
check duct work for proper installation
Check blower operatioû.
Inspect TEMP lever and cable for proper
operation.
Ch€ck heater hoses for function
On A, B and G Series check water
control valve as followsi
1, Start engine and allow to warm uP
2. Set control pan€l for MAX mode
3. Feel hose ftom water valve to
Hose should not be hot This indicatÊs
that vacuùm is appli€d to the water
control valve and that the water supply
to the hۉter core is shut off In anY
other position of the control paû€l selector
(mod€) lever, water should flow to the
heater core. If not, ch€ck water control
valve and vacuum suPplY hose.
4. On B Series, C60 Custom Vq
vacuum
should be âpplied ând water flo* shoùld
stop âs ternpemture lever is moved to
maximùm COLD position it any A,/C mode
b. INLET PIPE COOLER than accumulâtor surface
low refrigerant charge.
. Add slight amounts (1/4lbs.) of refrieerant UNTIL
BOTH feel the sâme temperature Allow stabilization time
. Then add l4 oz. (l can) additionâl refrigerânt.
C, INLET PIPE HAS FROST ACCUMULATION'
Accumulaior surface wârûer; proceed as in Step b above.

1. Install Manifold Gâge Set and set up the vehicle as
described under "Perfolmance Conditions" in "C C O.T
System Diagnostic Procedure".
2. Set the A/C control al NORM mode, LO blower.
.The thermosotic switch should cvclethe compressor
off in 5 minùtes or l€ss. If the compressor operat€s
cortinùously AND the âccujulâtor frosls, this is an
abnormal condition and will lead to evaporator freez€_up
