POWER STEERING SYSTEM
The power steering system is shown in Fig. 383,1.
Principal components ofthe system are ihe power steering
gear âssembly, high pr€ssure ând return hoses, and the
hydraulic pump assembly. The pump is driven by an engine
drive belt ând delivers hydrâulic âssist through the high
pressure hose to the steering gear assembly.
