Rgmoval
Remove the moldings frorn the affected pânet. The
transfer film may then be removed by lifting an edge and
peeling the material from the painted surface. Exercise care
so as not to damage the paint. Application of heat to the
t{ansfer and the pânel by means ofâ heat gun or heat lamp
will aid in the removal.
Instâllation
L With a solvent dampened sponge, clean enrire
surfâc€ to be covered with âppliqùe.
2. Wipe areâ dry with a clean cloth.
3. Prior to application of transfer, wet down the
complete trÂnsfer surface of the fender with a solution of
l/4 oz. ofneutral detergent cleaner (must not contain oilsj
perfumes, or bleaches) per gâllon of clear water. lt is
ess€ntial that no substitùte for this solutionbe used ând that
the specified proportions be maintained.
4. While entire area is still wet with solution, remove
paper backing from transfer and align upper edge with
pierced holes in fender and press on lightly.
5- Sta( at center oftransfer and squeeze oùtboard from
middle to edges removing all âir bubbles and wetting
solution to assure a satisfâctory bond. Use teflon-backed
plastic sqùeegee only.

6. Notch appl;que at fender .ear contour bend âleas
with scissors. Also notch out front marker lamp-A Model.
7. Fold ends of applique over fender flanges using
squeegee. Heat the wrâp-around âreâ ofapplique with a h€ât
lâmp or gun to approximately 90'F (32'C) ând press with
squeegee to secure entire edg€ surfâce.
8. lf the wrâp-aroùnd of the transfer has trouble
sticking to fender edges, brush vinyl adhesive onto the
fender or transfer area. Allow the adhesive to set for one
minuLe then press lrâncfer ro fender for adhesion.
9. Inspect trânsfer instâllation from crirical ângle using
âdequate light reflection to detect any irregulaities thât
may have develop€d during installâiion. Remove âli air or
moisture bubbles by piercing each at an acute ângie with
a fine pin or needle ând by pressing the bubble down.
10. Instâtl previoûsly removed pârts and clean up
vehicle as required.
