4.2.3 Saving and Transferring Data

The module configuration files that were automatically created by the MP2100 during self-configuration and
edited program files can be saved in flash memory. This data can be transferred to your computer for synchroni-
zation of the data in the MP2100 with the data in the computer.
(1) Saving to Flash Memory
Use the following procedure to save the data from the MP2100 RAM to flash memory.
1. Select Online - Save to Flash in the menu bar of the MPE720 Ver 6. main window.
The Transfer Program - Save to Flash dialog box appears.
2. Check to see that the target controller displayed in the dialog box is correct, and then click the Start but-
ton.
A message box appears and ask whether or not to stop the MP2100 while saving data to the flash memory.
3. Click the No button to stop the MP2100 and start saving the data to the flash memory.
When the data has been successfully saved in the flash memory, a message box appears to inform you that
saving process is complete.
4. Click the OK button in the message box.
Another message box appears asking whether or not to run the MP2100.
5. Click the Yes button to run the MP2100.
The data has been saved in the flash memory.
