The following items are displayed in the BUSIF window, and the I/O registers, I/O size, and the I/O refresh tim-
ing can be set.

(3) Errors of the BUSIF Module
The BUSIF Module carries out exclusive access control with the API for the BUS interface at the host computer.
While the API for the BUS interface is being processed in the application program at the host computer, the I/O
service of the MP2100/2100M's BUSIF Module is put on hold.
If I/O service cannot be accomplished within the stipulated time, the BUSIF Module detects a timeout error and
outputs the error status to the system registers as shown in the table below.

When an I/O error occurs at the BUSIF Module, make one of the following corrections.
IMPORTANT
• Reduce the BUSIF Module's number of I/O words. 64 words or fewer is recommended.
• Set a scan time setting that is substantially bigger than the maximum value for the scan time.
• Reduce the I/O size that is read or written at one time with the API for the BUS interface.
• If the API for the BUS interface is called repeatedly, reduce the frequency of API calls.
Enable or disable each item by clicking on the cell.

Displays the register number allocated to the input registers.
The register numbers can be changed.
Displays the register number allocated to the output registers.
The register numbers can be changed.
Displays the word size of the register data.
It can be set in the range from 1 to 1024 words. The default size is 64 words.
Set the HIGH or LOW. The default is HIGH.
When HIGH is set, data is updated in synchronization with the high-speed scan.
When LOW is set, data is updated in synchronization with the low-speed scan.
