5.1.5 Indicator Patterns

The MP2100/MP2100M performs a variety of diagnostics at startup. If an error is found, the S1 LED indicator
flashes red. The number of times the indicators flash differs depending on the error details, so error details can be
determined from counting the number of flashes. The following table shows details of MP2100/MP2100M LED
indicator.
Note: 1. MPE720 cannot be operated when the indicators are flashing.
2. For information on errors and countermeasures, refer to 6.3.3 LED Indicators.

This status is established
when a STOP operation is
performed using a switch or
the MPE720.
The S1 LED indicator
lights (Red) when a failure
occurs in the CPU.
The S1 LED indicator
flashes (Red) when an error
occurs.
The S1 and S2 LED indica-
tors flash (Red) when a
self-diagnosis failure
occurs.
The BAT LED indicator
lights when the battery
voltage drops.
The S2 LED indicator
lights (Red) when a calcu-
lation or I/O error is
detected.
