The following diagram shows an example of system configuration.

Note: 1. Use the connecting cables and connectors recommended by Yaskawa. Always check the device to be used
and select the correct cable for the device by referring to 3.2.2 (3) Cables.
2. Different SERVOPACKs are connected to MECHATROLINK-I and MECHATROLINK-II. Select the
appropriate SERVOPACKs by referring to 1.5 Devices Connectable to MECHATROLINK.
3. If devices compatible with MECHATROLINK-I (4 Mbps) and with MECHATROLINK-II (10 Mbps) are
used together, set all devices to be compatible with MECHATROLINK-I.
4. When connecting SERVOPACKs via MECHATROLINK, connect the overtravel, zero point return deceler-
ation limit switch, and external latch signals to the SERVOPACKs. For the details on connection, refer to
the SERVOPACK's manual.

5. If
-II SERVOPACKs (SGDH + NS100, SGDH + NS115) are to be connected, do not connect a handy type
digital operator or SigmaWin+. It will not be possible to carry out normal operation because command
alarm A.95 and execution not completed A.ED will occur at the servo side in response to commands from
the SVB Module. If you do connect a digital operator or SigmaWin+ to a
while disconnected from the SVB Module.
