2.2.8 M-EXECUTOR Module (Motion Program Executor)
This section gives an overview of the functions of the M-EXECUTOR Module (Motion Program Executor) and
explains the detail window.
The M-EXECUTOR Module can be used with the following software versions.

(1) Function Overview of the M-EXECUTOR Module
• Executing a motion program without using a ladder program
To execute a motion program, an MSEE command is usually needed in a ladder program. The M-EXECU-
TOR Module allows the motion program to be executed without using an MSEE command into the ladder
program.
Note: An MSEE command can be used in the ladder program as usual.
• Controlling a motion program without using a ladder program
Any register can be mapped to the control signal of the motion program registered in the M-EXECUTOR
Module. So, without a ladder program, this allows direct control of a motion program from a host PLC or
other device.
• Describing sequence control in motion language
Sequence programming has been added as a new programming method.
A sequence program is a scan execution type program where a process is completed with one scan. It
employs a text language similar to a motion program.
The sequence program can be used as an alternative to the ladder program.
