The baud rate for port 0 is controlled by a switch setting on the circuit card's
faceplate. Ports 1 and 2 are user configurable in LD 17.
Port 0 is the only SDI port that can be used for software installation and
upgrades.
All three ports on the NDK20EA SSC card can be used to connect
terminals or modems.
An NTBK48 3-port SDI cable must be used with the NDK20EA SSC
card.
Note: The default baud rate of the SSC card is 1200 bps; the maximum
data rate is 19,200 bps. When changing the DIP switch on the faceplate,
make sure only one baud rate switch is set to ON. Refer to Table 26 on
page 216.
Change the modem set-up to 7 bits, no parity, 1
stop bit, or add MTC or SCH to the ESDI user
prompt.
Change the modem set-up to 7 bits or the parity
to EVEN/ODD.
