Record the MAC address found on the back of the daughterboard.
This will be needed later to perform the software installation. See
Figure 57 on page 149.

Insert the male end on the NTDK8305 cable into one port on the
IP daughterboard. Pull gently on the cable to make sure the
connection is secure.
Note: The top connector on the SSC card is for expansion cabinets"1"
and "3". The lower connector is for expansion cabinets "2" and "4".

Connect the LED cable to receptacle on daughterboard. See
Figure 57 on page 149 for exact location.

Mount daughterboard onto card by inserting the plastic post into
designated slot on the daughterboard. See Figure 57 on page 149
for exact positioning.
Note: Tip daughterboard down over the post and press down onto the
two standoffs.

Firmly press daughterboard down on connector pin to secure in
place.

Route expansion cable through the cable router on the SSC card.

Install EMC Grounding Clip on the cabinet's stiffener rail. See
Figure 58 on page 150 for exact positioning.
Note: Depending on the vintage of the cabinet, this clip may already
be installed. In this case, loosen the screws that secure it to the
stiffener rail and rotate the clip to an outward position.
The EMC grounding clip must be used to secure the contact between
the cable and the metal stiffener rail. Failure to do so will compromise
EMC compliance.

Insert the SSC card into slot '0' of the Main Option 11C cabinet.
Lock card into face plate latches.

Route NTDK8305 extension cable through EMC clip. Push cable
to the left as shown in Figure 58 on page 150.
