Maximum text lengths for a message:
• 42 characters for standard text
• 84 characters for standard text and user-definable additional text (parameters)
Standard texts can be activated with or without additional text (parameters).
In principle callback requests and notifications by the Voice Mail System are dis-
played with a higher priority on the terminal, i.e. before any text messages.
Any text message more than 30 days old is automatically deleted.
A maximum of 15 text messages are stored for any given destination subscriber.
Tip:
A busy subscriber who has also disabled intrusion and call waiting can
still be reached using text messages.
