ACD
With ACD, incoming calls are automatically placed into the call queue and then
routed to the subscribers / team members by the PBX. The ACD server with its
ACD application is responsible for control operations.
The Ascotel supports the following TAPI supplementary functions:
• Call deflection
• Call queue
• Free seating
• Home agents
• New agent features
• Log in / out
• Pause
• Post-processing time
• Emergency routing
The telephony server has to be connected to the Ethernet interface to be able to
run ACD. A licence is required, and an ACD application must be available on the
server. The TAPI supplementary services can be applied only if they are supported
by the ACD application (see "ACD Server", Page 2.111).
