vating and resetting the call diversion
• If "Call diversion first ring = yes" is configured
and C is an internal subscriber, B obtains an
attention tone (short ring) and has 5 seconds
in which to answer the call.

The conditions for call diversion to exchange apply to PISN subscribers in the public network or on a vir-
tually connected PINX.
Call diversion to a call distribution element:
The internal number of a call distribution element is not possible as the destina-
tion for a call diversion.
Diversion chains:
• Internal: call diversion chains can be set up locally (maximum 20);
• In the PISN: call diversion chains are permitted. They are however restricted by
the transit counter.
Diversion loops:
• Internal: not permitted.
• In the PISN: restricted by the transit counter.
C is the only subscriber who can still reach B.

Restriction:
B can only activate a single call diversion. Each
new one overwrites the old one.
Possible destinations:
• Subscribers: internal, external
• PS / coded ringing
• UG: 17 to 21 (Ascotel 2025 / 2045) or 25 to
29 (Ascotel 2065)
• Standard message (leave message)
Requirement:
C is not protected against calls (Do not disturb,
*26) or call diversion (*02).
