Installing a RAID Unit

Refer to the online documentation for the SANnet II SCSI RAID unit at:
http://www.dothill.com/index.asp
The RAID unit requires one of the following power sources. Check your SDP for the type of power
required for your installation.

The following illustration shows the Seagate Scorpion 40 DDS-4 desktop drive and the Seagate

Seagate Drives Operating System Configuration Settings

Make the following changes to the switch settings to use the Seagate Scorpion drives on the UNIX
operating system:
1. Remove power from the drive.
