Installing AC Power

On AC-powered systems, each MPS 500 requires a minimum of two 120V/230V branch circuits.
You can require up to four branch circuits for a 25 RU cabinet depending on your configuration.
The MPS 500 is supplied with 14.7 foot (4.5 m) cables terminated with either NEMA type L5-20P
(120 V) or L6-20P (230 V) plugs. Two/four Nema L5-20 (120V) or two/four L6-20 (230 V)
receptacles are needed to connect the power cords. Both power cords must be utilized for proper
system operation, see
Note:
Do not use ground fault circuit interrupt (GFCI) devices on MPS 500 AC power feeds.
