8. Select your location.
9. When you click Next, the Windows 2008 activation wizard displays thee steps. You must
complete the steps to complete your activation.
10. In the first step, you are given available phone numbers. If available a toll-free number, toll
number and an SMS are provided.
11. Follow the prompts in the automated call, it supports both keypad and voice recognition for
input
12. Installation ID is given in Step 2 section and is a 54 digit long number split into 9 groups of 6
digits each.
The numbers shown are provided as an example and will be different for each activation and
COA.
13. After you enter your system installation ID, you will be given a corresponding 54 digit long
Confirmation ID again split into 9 groups of 6 digits by the activation phone system.
Note this confirmation ID on a piece of paper or on your computer, for example, use the
Notepad application.
