2. To set CD to drive V and remove drive letter from 200 Meg system volume, perform the
following steps:
a. Go to Windows Explorer and cd to c:\windows\oem\Drive_letters.
b. Double-click changeletter.cmd.
3. To configure security, use the following steps:
a. Go to Windows Explorer and cd to c:\windows\oem\Security.
b. Double-click mpssecure2008.cmd.
c. If prompted for MPS release, enter 4.0 or Newer. The default is Newer.
d. Press [Enter].
4. To configure network, use the following steps:
a. Name the first interface MPS_Private.
b. Set as a Work (Private) network.
c. Name the second interface Public.

Update Server dependent driver software
a. Go to Windows Explorer and cd to c:\windows\oem\HP.
b. Double-click the command file that matches the server type.
• G5: G5.cmd
• G6: G6.cmd
• G7: G7.cmd
• Gen 8: G8.cmd
c. Open device manager and verify that there are no Unknown devices marked with
yellow question marks.
a. Go to Windows Explorer and cd to c:\windows\oem\x3550.
b. Double-click the command file that matches the server type.
• IBM x3550 Harpertown 2.5" HDD: x3550.cmd
• IBM x3550 Clovertown 2.5" HDD: x3550.cmd
• IBM x3550 Woodcrest 2.5" HDD: x3550.cmd
• IBM x3550 M2: G7.cmd: x3550-M2.cmd

• IBM x3550 M4: x3550-M4.cmd
c. Open device manager and verify that there are no Unknown devices marked with
