Cycle the power or
restart the Board
and clear the
reception buffer.
Note: If an overrun
error occurs, the
Overrun Error Flag
can be turned OFF
by cycling the
power or restarting
the Unit/Board or
restarting the port.
Conduct a loop-
back test in serial
communications
mode to check the
transmission lines.
If an error occurs
during the test,
replace the Board
or Unit.
