Countermeasure
Replace the print head and reset the counter.
Replace the main board.
Countermeasure
Use media and ribbon designed for the printer.
Check if the media and ribbon are loaded
correctly.
Adjust the tension of the ribbon.
Install the print head correctly.
Adjust the pressure of the print head with the
head pressure adjustment dial.
Adjust the print speed.
Adjust the print darkness.
If the platen roller is dirty, clean it using the
cleaning kit.
For printer cleaning, refer to Maintenance.
If the print head is dirty, clean it using the
cleaning pen. If a label is attached to the print
head, remove it.
If the glue of label is attached to the print head,
clean it using a cleaning kit.
Do not clean using a hard object. Doing so could
cause damage to the print head.
For printer cleaning, refer to
Maintenance of the Print Head and Platen
Roller.
Replace the print head and reset the counter.
Replace the platen roller.
Replace the main board.
