Idle Speed Control (lSC) Valve

CHECK FOR OPERATING SOUND FROM ISC

Check that there is a clicking sound immediately after stop-

ping the engine.

REMOVAL OF ISC VALVE

DRAIN COOLANT

DISCONNECT ISC VALVE CONNECTOR

DISCONNECT NO.2 WATER BY-PASS HOSE AND AIR

REMOVE ISC VALVE

Remove the two bolts, ISC valve and gasket.

Disconnect the No.1 water by-pass hose from the ISC

Remove the seal washer and check valve from the air

intake chamber.
