DOUBLE-OFFSET JOINT
Inspection / Removal / Installation
1. Inspection the rear driveshaft, referring
to Inspection.
2. Remove in the order shown in the figure, referring to
Removal Note.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal, referring
to Installation Note.

Inspection
Driveshaft
1. Check the dust boot on the driveshaft for cracks, damage,
leaking grease, and loose boot bands.
2. Check the driveshaft for bending, cracking, and wear of
joints or
splines.
Replace the driveshaft if necessary.
