Removal note
Propeller shaft
Caution
l
Do not mark with a punch.
1. Mark the companion flange and the flont yoke.
2. Mark the companion flange and the rear York.
3. Remove the propeller shaft.
Tie-rod end
1. Remove the tie-rod from the knuckle with the
SST.
2. Loosen the nut and disconnect the tie-rod end with the
SST.

l
Do not damage the dust boot.
Driveshaft
Caution
l
Do not damage the ball joint dust boot.
1. Remove the clinch bolts from the lower arm ball joints.
2. Pull the lower arms downward to separate them from the
knuckles.
