the vehicle and verify that the l-2 and 2-3 upshifts 3-1, and lockup
downshifts
are obtained.

Noise and Vibration
Note

Abnormal noise and vibration can also be caused by the torque converter, driveshaft, or differen-
tial. Therefore,
check for the cause with extreme care.
Drive the vehicle in OD (lockup),
OD (no lockup),
and 3rd (Hold) and check for abnormal
noise or vibration.
Kickdown
Drive the vehicle
in OD, 3rd, and 2nd gears and check that kickdown
occurs for OD+3,
OD-+2,
OD-tl,
3-2,
341,
2-1,
and that the shift points are as shown in the shift diagram.
