CENTER DIFFERENTIAL LOCK SWITCH
INSPECTION
Terminal Voltage
1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
2. Measure the voltage at each terminal at the switch side of
the connector in LOCK and FREE position.

* Turn the light switch (first position).
Continuity
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the connector of switch.
3. Check continuity in LOCK and FREE position.

REPLACEMENT
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the switch.
3. Replace the switch.

INSPECTION
Continuity
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the center differential lock sensor switch.
3. Check continuity between terminals in LOCK and FREE po-
sition.

REPLACEMENT
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the connector of the center differential lock sen-
sor switch.
3. Replace the switch. J
Tightening torque:
20-29 N,m (2.0-3.0 m-kg, 14-22 ft-lb)
