Check items
Is the main charger dirty?
Is the transfer charger dirty?
Is the transfer charger wire dirty?
Is there any foreign matter or stain
on the slit glass?
Is the discharge LED dirty?
Is any of the discharge LEDs off?
Is the magnetic brush in proper con-
tact with the drum?
Is the developer sleeve pressuriza-
tion mechanism working?
Is the developer material trans-
ported normally?
Is the platen cover or RADF
opened?
Are the original glass (especially the
position of shading correction plate),
mirror and lens dirty?

Clean or replace the charger wire/grid.
Clean it.
Clean it.
Remove the foreign matter or stain.
Clean it.
Remove it.
Adjust the doctor-sleeve gap.
Check the mechanism.
Remove foreign matters if there is any.
