The IR remote controls the projector by way of wireless communications through a battery-powered infrared
(IR) transmitter. Use the IR remote the same way you would use a remote supplied with a TV or VCR. When
making key presses, direct the standard IR remote either toward the screen or toward the front or rear IR
sensors on the projector.
NOTE: For improved reception, use an optional remote IR sensor to route the signal via a phone cable
plugged into the wired port labeled
The "Brick" style rental staging/standard IR remote, typically used with Roadster models, is shown in
3-4. It has no laser pointer, but includes 3 additional keys:
• SWAP key for use with PIP functions
• BACKLIGHT key for lighting keys
• Direct INPUT key used with the numbered keypad to switch from one input to another
