1) Remove the IAP sensor.
2) Connect the vacuum pump gauge to the vacuum port "A"
of the IAP sensor.
3) Arrange 3 new 1.5 V batteries in series (check that total
voltage is 4.5 – 5.0 V) and connect negative terminal to
ground terminal and positive terminal to Vcc terminal.
4) Check the voltage between Vout and ground.
5) Also, check if voltage reduces when vacuum is applied
by the vacuum pump gauge.
Special tool
(A): 09917–47010 (Vacuum pump gauge)
(B): 09900–25008 (Multi-circuit tester set)
