Troubleshooting
NOTE
After repairing the trouble, clear the DTC using SDS tool. Refer to "Use of SDS Diagnosis Reset
Procedures (Page1A-15)".
Step
1
1) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2) Check the CKP sensor coupler (1) for loose or poor
contacts.
If OK, then measure the CKP sensor resistance.
3) Disconnect the CKP sensor coupler (1) and measure the
resistance.
CKP sensor resistance
190 – 290 Ω (Bl – G)
Special tool
(A): 09900–25008 (Multi-circuit tester set)
Tester knob indication
Resistance (Ω)
If OK, then check the continuity between each terminal
and ground.
CKP sensor continuity
∞ Ω (Infinity) (Bl – Ground, G – Ground)
Special tool
(A): 09900–25008 (Multi-circuit tester set)
Tester knob indication
Continuity (
Are the resistance and continuity OK?

Go to Step 2.

Replace the CKP
sensor with a new one.
