POSSIBLE CAUSE
• Fouled, defective spark plugs
(carburetor models)
• Malfunction of rev limiter in MPEM

• Spark plug leads or wiring reversed
• Incorrect setting
• Sheared flywheel key
• Carburetion too lean
• Intake leak/crankshaft seal failure
