The handlebar of a Sea-Doo 4-TEC GTX includes the following buttons and their functions:
1. Throttle Lever – When squeezed, it accelerates the watercraft. When fully released, the engine slows to idle speed, and the watercraft gradually stops due to water drag. 2. Engine Start/Stop Button – Depress and hold to start the engine, releasing immediately after the engine starts. To stop the engine, press the button again and disconnect the safety lanyard. 3. Variable Trim System (VTS) Button (if equipped) – Adjusts the trim angle of the watercraft for better performance and handling. 4. Shift Lever – Controls the forward, neutral, and reverse movement of the watercraft.
These controls help in operating and maneuvering the watercraft efficiently.
