990 D Software error 1
The software performs an
unexpected function and the
program cannot continue.
991 C Software error 2
The software performs an
unexpected function. However,
unlike SC990, recovery processing
allows the program to continue.

: In order to get more details about SC990 and SC991:
1) Execute SP7403 or print an SMC Report (SP5990) to read the history of the 10 most recent
logged errors.
2) If you press the zero key on the operation panel with the SP selection menu displayed, you
will see detailed information about the recently logged SC990 or SC991, including the
software file name, line number, and so on. 1) is the recommended method, because
another SC could write over the information for the previous SC.
992 D Software error 3: Undefined
An error not controlled by the
system occurred (the error does not
come under any other SC code).
997 B Software Error 4: Cannot select application function
An application does not start after
the user pushed the correct key on
the operation panel.
998 D Software Error 5: Application cannot start
Register processing does not
operate for an application within 60
s after the machine power is turned
on. No applications start correctly,
and all end abnormally.
951 D F-gate error at write request
After the IPU receives an F-gate signal, it receives
another F-gate signal.
953 D Scanner setting error
The IPU does not respond with the scanner
setting signal required to start scanning
processing.
954 D Printer setting error
The IPU does not respond with the settings that
are required to start image processing by the
printer.
