switchport pvid
Description
The switchport pvid command is used to configure the PVID for the switch
ports. To restore the PVID of the specified port as 1, please use the no
switchport pvid.
Syntax
switchport pvid vlan-id
Parameter
vlan-id —— Specify IEEE 802.1Q VLAN ID, ranging from 1 to 4094.
Command Mode
Interface Configuration Mode (interface fastEthernet / interface range
fastEthernet / interface gigabitEthernet / interface range gigabitEthernet/
interface ten-gigabitEthernet / interface range ten-gigabitEthernet)
Example
Specify the PVID of Gigabit Ethernet port 1/0/3 as 1:
T3700G-28TQ(config)#interface gigabitEthernet 1/0/3
T3700G-28TQ(config-if)#switchport pvid 1
show interface switchport
Description
The show interface switchport command is used to display the information of
one or all Ethernet ports.
Syntax
show interface switchport [ fastEthernet port | gigabitEthernet port |
ten-gigabitEthernet port ]
Parameter
port ——The Fast/Gigabit/Ten-Gigabit Ethernet port number.
