5.5 Configuring BGP Route Attributes

5.5.1 Configuration Prerequisites
Before configuring BGP routing policy, enable basic BGP functions.
Before configuring BGP routing policy, make sure the following information is
available.
BGP priority value
LOCAL_PREF value
MED value
5.5.2 Configuring BGP Route Attributes
BGP possesses many route attributes for you to control BGP routing policies.
Follow these steps to configure BGP route attributes:
Enter system view
Enter BGP view
Configure the management
preference of the exterior,
interior and local routes
Set the default local
preference
Configure
the MED
attribute

Permit to
compare the
MED values
of the routes
