Replace the 3 1/2-inch drive bracket (see "Replacing the 3 1/2-Inch Drive

Removing the Front Panel
Remove the front panel only if installing a 5 1/4-inch device. The front panel does not need
to be removed if installing a 3 1/2-inch hard disk drive.
If installing a 3 1/2-inch hard disk drive, see "Installing the 3 1/2-Inch Drive."

Remove the system unit cover as previously described.

Remove the front panel by releasing the four tabs from the back of the front panel
(see Figure 3-22).
