Description
Specifies the current
operational state of the
interface.
Indicates the amount of
time the interface has been
up and running.
MIB Descriptions
Setting/Contents
Management port. When
configured as Net Link,
up(1) and down(2) are
based on the current state of
the link-layer protocol. When
configured for Alarms, the
interface is always up(1).
Never in testing(3) state.
Terminal port. Always up(1);
never in testing(3) state.
User Data Port
– up(1) – Port is assigned
(cross connected) to a T1
interface and both CTS
and DSR are ON
– down(2) – Port is
unassigned or either CTS
or DSR are OFF
– testing(3) – Test active
Network T1 Interface
– up(1) – No alarms
– down(2) – Alarms
– testing(3) – Test active
Facility Data Link (FDL).
When enabled, up and down
are based on the current
state of the physical and link
layer protocols.
– up(1) – Operational and
no active test on the
network T1 interface
– down(2) – Not
operational or disabled
– testing(3) – Test active
on network T1 interface
Contains the value of
sysUpTime object at the time
the interface entered its current
operational state.
This object is only updated for
the up and down states; the
testing state is not mutually
exclusive with the up and down
states.
