6038 MVL
POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) Filter works with
the Hotwire 6310 MVL Modem.

Verify that your package contains a Hotwire 6038 MVL
POTS Filter and an interface cable with RJ11 connectors.

What Does the Hotwire 6038 MVL POTS Filter Do?

The Hotwire 6038 MVL POTS Filter and Hotwire 6310 MVL Modem are components in
the Hotwire MVL System. This system provides high-speed Internet or remote LAN
access over traditional twisted-pair copper telephone wiring. With some telephones, an
optional POTS filter may be used to improve the data transmission throughput and
minimize the audible background noise during a telephone conversation.
