9.3. USE OF STORED MEASUREMENT AND DISPLA V SETUPS
Maximum use of the stored MEASUREMENT and DISPLAY SETUPs is recommended to
speed measurement procedures and display of results. Ever if they do not correspond
exactly to the required setup, they can generally be quickly modified to speed the
setup procedure. Remember:
1.
The stored MEASUREMENT and DISPLAY SETUPs can be listed by moving the
Field Selector to the MEASUREMENT or DISPLAY SETUP label field and pressing
the upper right hand (blank) pushkey of the numeric keyboard. To return to a
normal display, press the key a second tinie.
2.
Should the current displayed MEASUREMENT SETUP be changed after a measure-
ment is stopped, the setup used to obtain the current displayed results will always
be stored as the DOCUMENTATION SETUP.
3.
WORKING, DOCUMENTATION, and STORED SETUPs are always identified with the
number of the MEASUREMENT or DISPLAY SETUP from which they are derived.
9.4. MASS STORAGE OF USER-DEFINED MEASUREMENT AND DISPLAY SETUPS
The 2032 has capacity to store 10 user-defined MEASUREMENT SETUPs and 10 user-
defined DISPLAY SETUPs. Extra user-defined MEASUREMENT and DISPLA YEO SET-
UPs can always be stored, however, using the Digital Cassette Recorder Type 7400.
These can be recorded on an individual basis, whereby they are read back from the
7400 to the 2032 as the current WORKING SETUP. Alternatively, the entire contents of
the continuous memory used to store the user-defined setups in the 2032 can be read
out to the 7400. These setups can then be read back into the 2032 continuous memory
at a later date, whereby the setups will be reconstructed with their original setup num-
bers. This allows multiple users of the 2032 each to maintain their own library .of
MEASUREMENT and DISPLAY SETUPs which can be entered into the 2032 as desired.
For details of storing the 2032 continuous memory contents, refer to Section 12.7.1.
Individual MEASUREMENT and DISPLAY SETUPs can be recorded both as total docu-
mentation files, (see Section 8.2) and reduced format files, (Section 12. 7.1 ).
9.5. USE OF INPUT LOW-PASS FILTERS
The 2032 is provided with input low-pass filters which cut off at 25,6 kHz, (the antialias-
ing filters), and with additional filters which cut off at 6,4 kHz. Use of both sets of filters
is recommended at frequencies below 6,4 kHz, since this will give extra dynamic range,
and avoid effects due to transducer resonances.
