4.3.2. Editing the Text-String
In Alpha mode, editing of the text-string can be accomplished using certain of the
FIELD SELECT and FIELD ENTRY pushkeys. 4 of the FIELD SELECT pushkeys are
used as follows:

Moves the Text Cursor to the upper of the two text lines
= - M o v e s the Text Cursor one position to the right

Moves the Text Cursor to the lower of the two text lines
'--- - - - - - - - - - - M o v e s the Text Cursor one position to the left
Holding one of the FIELD SELECT pushkeys down moves the Text Cursor repeatedly in
the corresponding direction.
Characters can be deleted from the text-string using the "--" pushkey or the upper
right hand key of the numeric keyboard.

The .. __ .. key can be used to erase erroneous entries. Each time the
..
__
.. pushkey is pressed, the next character to the left is erased.
Holding the backspace key down causes repeated erasure.

Each time the upper right hand pushkey of the numeric keyboard is
pressed, the character at the Text Cursor position is erased. Holding
the key down causes repeated erasure.
