The 2032 Display set up to read in dBV
Calibration of the 2032 to read in relative units, (where relevant), is as follows. The
2032 is first set up to read in volts, etc., or engineering units as described in Section
6.2.2 item 1 or Section 6.2.3 items 1 and 2. Then:
1.
Set the Units field of the Y -scaling control" fields of the DISPLAY SETUP for read-
out in relative units.
2.
Move the Field Selector one field to the right to the Reference Level field. The dB
reference level may then be entered into this field. For
instance,
if the 2032 is
calibrated in volts, entry of a reference level of 1 will give a read-out in dBV, and

will give a read-out in
dB~-tV.
Likewise, if the 2032 is calibrated in m/s, entry of
a reference level of 1
o-

will give a read-out in velocity dB.
