Single trace full screen format
Text-string
The ALPHA pushkey switches the 2032 to its Alpha mode, whereby
user-defined text can be written on the Display. To switch the 2032
out of its Alpha mode and back to normal processing, press ALPHA a
second time.
In ALPHA mode:
1.
The ALPHA L.E.D. is on.
2.
If the display format was formerly dual trace, it is switched to
single trace with the MEASUREMENT SETUP.
3.
If no text-string has been selected, (see DISPLAY "Text"), text-
string 1 is automatically selected.
4.
The Field Selector is replaced by the Text Cursor.
5.
The 2032 pushkey functions are changed to an alphanumeric key-
board.
6.
User-defined alphanumeric text can be entered into text-string 1
or text-string 2.
7.
Alphanumeric text already in text-string 1 or 2 can be edited.
When ALPHA mode is switched off:
1.
The ALPHA L.E.D. goes out.
2.
The Text Cursor is replaced by the Field Selector.
3.
The normal pushkey functions return.
For details of writing text in ALPHA mode, refer to Section 4.3.
"Measurement" -
is used to save the current MEASUREMENT SET-
UP as shown on the Display. To save a MEASUREMENT SETUP:
1.
Press SAVE SETUP "Measurement" whereby:
(a) The display format will be automatically switched to single
trace with the MEASUREMENT SETUP.
(b) The Field Selector will move to the MEASUREMENT SETUP
label field.
