Connections between a 2032 and an X- Y Recorder Type 2308
for hard copy
Hard copy from a 2032 to an X- Y Recorder Type 2308 can be obtained as follows:
1.
Connect the RECORDER Y -OUTPUT of the 2032 to the Y -INPUT of the 2308 using
BrOel & Kjrer cable AO 0087, and the X-Y RECORDER 2308 REMOTE 1 connector of
the 2308 using BrOel
&
Kjrer cable AQ 0034.
2.
For details of operation of the 2308, refer to its Instruction Manual.
3.
Since the 2032 draws its own a;{es during a hard copy to an X-Y Recorder, plain,
ungraduated paper may be used on the 2308. Alternatively, the use of squared
paper might be considered. To calibrate the 2308, switch the 2032 RECORDER
controls between "Cal." and "Stop" to give full X and Y, and zero, respectively.
Adjust the 2308 accordingly. When the calibration procedure is complete, reselect
RECORDER "Stop".
4.
To start a hard copy, press RECORDER "Start". On completion of the copy, RE-
CORDER "Stop" will be automatically selected. Alternatively, the copy can be
stopped before its completion by manually pressing RECORDER "Stop". A speci-
men hard copy is shown in Fig.7.2. The hard copy obtained will always be of the
actual data being displayed on the 2032 Display, without alphanumerics.
