A versatile 3-in-1 prec1s1on instrument for
linear and logarithmic frequency analysis of
sound, vibration or electrical sources, and
frequency response measurement of sys-
tems, in the range 2Hz to 200kHz

It
incor-
porates a wide-range measuring amplifier,
a tunable selectable-bandwidth bandpass fil-
ter and a sinewave generator slaved to the
centre frequency of the filter
.
It features au-
tomatic tuning for swept-frequency record-
ing, precise digital and dial indications of
frequency, extensive facilities for local and
remote control of characteristics including
bandwidth and averaging times, and a com-
pressor loop for remote regulations of the
generator output
.
