5.2. DISTORTION MEASUREMENT CONTROL UNIT 1902

The 1 902 Distortion Measurement Control Unit provides the 201 0 with the facility to
perform swept-frequency distortion measurements on audio-frequency equipment and
systems. The combination facilitates measurement of harmonic, difference frequency
and intermodulation distortion to DIN 45 403 and IEC 268-3.
To record a swept-frequency distortion curve, proceed as follows.
1.
Connect up the equipment as shown in Fig.5.3. The three rear panel connections
on the 1902 and 2010 are between the sockets VARIABLE FREQUENCY, EXTER-
NAL VARIABLE FREQUENCY and FIXED FREQUENCY on both instruments.
