12.7. SPECIAL PARAMETERS, DIGITAL 1/0
12.7.1. 80: Manual Digital Output
Special Parameter 80 allows the format of a manually controlled digital output to, for
example, a Digital Cassette Recorder Type 7 400 to be altered from a "Total Documen-
tation" file, that is as described in Section 4.2.6 under DIGITAL 1/0 "Output", to other
formats. The allowed Parameter values are as follows, each value corresponding to the
manual digital output described. Note that on re-entry of such digital outputs to the
2032, the data will automatically find its way to the correct part of the 2032 memory,
that is, it is not necessary to set Special Parameter 80 accordingly.
Positive Parameter Values
0: outputs a Totai_Documentation file
1: outputs the Measurement_Specification, that is the MEASUREMENT SETUP and
the setting of the Universal Parameter Selector fields.
2: outputs the Display_Format, that is single trace full format, single trace with the
MEASUREMENT SETUP, or dual trace.
3: outputs the current Field Selector position
4: outputs the Display _Specification, that is the DISPLAY and CURSOR SETUPS,
the Shortpass/Longpass field settings, and the text-string
5: outputs the Actuai_Graph(s), that is the displayed trace in single trace format
or both traces in dual trace format, with the CURSOR SETUP(s).
10: Time_History 30 - causes continuous output of the time history in Ch.A and/or
Ch.B from the time when DIGITAL 1/0 "Output" is selected until 30 records
have been output, or DIGITAL 1/0 "Output is reselected. The real-time rate
ach.ieved in such an output depends both on the settings of the 2032 and the
speed of the connected listener. For further details, see the 2032 Main Interface
Manual.
50: outputs the 2032 SPL, (Signal Processing Language), program. See the 2032
main IEC Interface Manual for details.
100: Block_Binary_ Transfer 3, 0, 1023 - outputs the contents of the 2032 continuous
memory. This is used to record the 2032 user-defined MEASUREMENT and
DISPLAY SETUPS, for instance, on the 7 400.
1 01: Block_Binary _Transfer, 1, 63806, 63929 - as Parameter value 1 00, except that
the values of all Special Parameters are output.
200: Block_ASCII_ Transfer 3, 0, 1023 - as Parameter value 100, except that the
output is in ASCII instead of in binary.
201: Block_ASCII_ Transfer 1, 63856, 63919 - as Parameter value 1 01, except that
the output is in ASCII instead of in binary.
