The four screws retaining the base cover of the Sound Level Meter are
loosened and the cover and foam rubber packing piece are removed. The
Power Supply Connector is inserted in such a way that the connecting cable
outlet faces the front of the Sound Level
Meter.
It
should
be noticed that
the Power Supply Connector has a small crest close to one of the metal
contacts, and the mounting should be made so that this crest faces the
U-shaped battery-springs in the Sound Level Meter. The four screws are
fastened and the Power Supply Connector plug is coupled to the socket
marked "POWER SUPPLY for 2203",

Calibration.
1.
Set
the Hearing Aid Test Box to
"Off"
by means of the ATTENUATOR
knob on the front panel.
2. Ensure that the line voltage selector placed at the rear of the Box is
in its proper position. If not, remove the fuse from the fuseholder and
rotate the selector, using a coin or similar means, until the white mark
indicates the desired value for the line voltage.
3. Reinsert the fuse, connect the Test Box to the power line, and switch
on.

The red power indicator lamp should light up and the Test Box is ready
for use.
