2.14 Switching of ranges and gears on GB

Setting of the required gear is carried out by means of two levers and two buttons:

lever for range switching 1 (figure 2.14.1), lever for gear switching 2, buttons for switching

reduction unit passes 5 and 6.

passes; 3 – scheme of switching GB reduction unit gears and passes; 4 – scheme of

switching GB ranges; 5 – button for actuation of GB reduction unit lower (L) pass; 6 – but-

ton for actuation of GB reduction unit higher (H) pass; 7 – annunciator for actuation of GB

reduction unit lower pass; 8 – annunciator for actuation of GB reduction unit higher pass.

Setting of the required gear is carried out by means of the lever for switching GB

reduction unit gears and passes 2 (figure 2.14.1) according to scheme 3.

Setting of the required GB range is carried out by means of the lever for range

switching 1 according to scheme 4.

Pressing button 5 or 6 on the lever handle for switching GB reduction unit gears and

passes 2 actuates GB reduction unit lower or higher pass correspondingly. Indication of

GB reduction unit actuated pass is carried out by annunciators 7 and 8 located on lever

handle 2 and on the control panel of RADL, FDA and PTO drive. Annunciator for actuation

of GB reduction unit lower pass, located on lever handle 2, is green; annunciator for actua-

tion of GB reduction unit higher pass is red.

Actuation of reduction unit passes "L" or "H" is only possible at setting the lever for

switching GB reduction unit gears and passes 2 into neutral position.

IT IS FORBIDDEN TO SWITCH GB REDUCTION UNIT PASSES WHILE TRAC-
