Figure 5.4.28 – Bleeding of brakes and adjustment of pedals working travel
On tractors with "FENOX" main brake cylinders after making adjustments, also fill the
drive hydraulic system with brake fluid and bleed the hydraulic system. Due to the construction
specific character, before filling and bleeding the hydraulic system of service brakes control it
is required to disconnect pipelines 1 and 4 (figure 5.4.29) from outlet holes of main brake cyl-
inders 7 and 8 by unscrewing bolts 2, 5. Fill tanks 3 and 6 of the main brake cylinders with
brake fluid up to the mark ''MAX" on tanks housings. After brake fluid appears from outlet
holes of the main brake cylinders connect pipelines 1 and 4 to outlet holes of main brake cyl-
inders 7, 8 and start bleeding according to the abovementioned method for tractors with main
brake cylinders of the company "CARLISLE".
ATTENTION: IF AFTER DISCONNECTION OF PIPELINES FROM OUTLET HOLES
OF MAIN BRAKE CYLINDERS WITH TANKS FILLED, NO BRAKE FLUID APPEARS FROM
OUTLET HOLES OF MAIN BRAKE CYLINDERS AFTER MORE THAN FOUR MINUTES, IT
INDICATES, THAT THE VALVE BETWEEN THE TANK AND CYLINDER OPERATING CAV-
ITY IS CLOGGED. IN THIS CASE THE BLEEDING OF HYDRAULIC SYSTEM IS NOT POS-
SIBLE. TO ELIMINATE THE DEFECT, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR DEALER!
